CHILDREN'S MINISTRY At Oak Street Baptist Church, we believe that the discipleship of children is first and foremost a family calling. That’s why our children’s ministry is designed to come alongside parents as they raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Through biblically grounded teaching, age-appropriate environments, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we aim to support families in leading their children to know and follow Jesus. Sunday Morning Schedule: Children’s Sunday School 9:30 AM – Downstairs Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join us downstairs at 9:30 AM each Sunday for Sunday School. These classes offer Christ-centered teaching, engaging lessons, and a safe environment where kids can grow in their understanding of God's Word. Children’s Church (Ages 4–10) During our morning worship service, we offer Children’s Church for ages 4 through 10. While this is a helpful option for families, we also want to encourage children to remain in the worship service with their parents whenever possible. We believe that the gathered worship of the whole church is a powerful and formative experience—even for our youngest attenders. Nursery Care A clean, safe, and loving nursery is available during Sunday School and the worship service for infants and toddlers. Our nursery volunteers are background-checked and committed to caring for your little ones so that parents can participate in worship with peace of mind. At Oak Street, children are not a distraction—they are a blessing. Whether sitting beside their parents in the pew or learning God’s truth in age-specific settings, our goal is to raise up a generation that delights in Jesus, trusts in His gospel, and walks in His ways. We’re excited to walk with your family in this journey of faith. If you have any questions about our children’s ministry or how your family can get connected, please contact us—we’re here to serve you.
